In addition to my first post I had the same problem I went through a few resistors before finding the shift lock solenoid problem I removed it and never had a problem afterwards

For all who have this problem check the shift lock solenoid on the shifter it has a diode in it and when it fails it will back feed voltage into the transmission computer frying the same resistors and capacitors common symptoms are the solenoid erratically actuating when driving or parked. If it has failed the solenoid is easy to replace or remove

I believe i am having trouble with my main relay. The car starts most of the time, but after i drive it and try to start again i have to wait a few minutes. I click the key and the check engine light is on. When i hear a click and check engine light turns off then it starts right up. Main relay?

Thanks for this info.. I never thought about removing the EGR valve.. But will be doing just that. I will also make sure the new hose is warm and slightly lubed with a little warmed antifreeze… Great idea…

xhaving iss issues with serious vibration when my A/C comes on and at idle. Once in gear it goes away. also while driving the engine cuts off, i come to a complete stop restart and drive off. Lastly the engine at idle, A/C off sounds as though its laboring to hard

In reply to Louis. It's probably your distributor. Mine was doing the same thing. Not a hard fix. Honda actually recommends changing it every 100, 000 miles

In reply to brad. Its hard to tell what's going on from your description, but it sounds like you may have more than one problem. Putting it in gear, but not being able to get it to move, or move very slowly would indicate a transmission issue if you can hear the rpms go up. If the engine stalls and you can't rev the engine, that would be something else entirely.
